Located just 200 meters from the main avenue (Prado-37th Street) of the city of Cienfuegos and in a very central area is Hostal Familia Leo, home of a young family with several years of experience in renting rooms. The house, colonial style, has large common areas including living room, terrace with barbecue and two comfortable separate rooms. The hostess prepares delicious international meals and specializes in Italian food. The owners speak English and Italian. They rent two separate rooms, each with air conditioning, fan, TV, refrigerator, stereo and hot and cold water. The house has a power plant. As additional services not included in the rent are: bay trips, dance classes (salsa and merengue), cocktails, transportation, parking, guide, Internet, laundry and breakfast, lunch and dinner. Any other needs will be served by the hosts.

From Havana: The city is accessible via 37th Street (Prado). Continue to 46th Avenue (three blocks after the third traffic light). Turn left and proceed to 41st Street (two blocks) and turn right. The house is located about 75 meters left.

From the bus terminal VIAZUL: The bus terminal is located at the corner of 49th Street and 56th Avenue. Take 49th Street to reach the 46th Avenue (five blocks). Turn right and proceed to 41st Street (four blocks) and turn left. The house is located about 75 meters left.

From Trinidad: The city is reached by September 5th Avenue. Continue to the end of the Avenue, which will deviate slightly to the right and continue along 44th Avenue. At 41st Street (4 blocks) turn right.

The house is located about 25 meters on the right.

My review: Questo anno abbiamo potuto vedere posti nuovi grazie a Pito che con molta pazienza ci aspettava ogni volta che entravamo in qualche museo. Buona come sempre la cucina e la pulizia in generale della casa, ringrazio ancora la familgia Leo ed un arrivederci al prossimo anno.

My review: Absolutely wonderful hosts. Yeni's motto "don't worry, be happy" describes her personality to a tee. Yeni's English is excellent. Very much a family home, it bubbled with life. Their 2-3 year old son Marco added a fun dimension to our casa experience. Yeni is an amazing cook, especially of Italian style dishes, and creates wonders out of limited availability of Cuban supplies. As a compliment to Yeni, Pito offers a taxi service. The family picked us up in Playa Larga and even bought us an ice cream on the way. Pito also made himself available to drive us to Laguna Guaranaroca and the wonderful botanical gardens, arranging a guide at the gardens who had an amazing knowledge of the plants, could speak excellent English and was well worth the extra cost. They couldn't do enough in helping us to enjoy our stay. We would highly recommend their casa.
How was your room?: Comfortable and clean.
How was the food they offer?: Very good and lots of it. Yeni creates wonders with limited Cuban supplies.
Other services they offer: The hosts are determined you enjoy your stay and are able, and do, provide advice on things to see and do. Nothing is too much trouble for them. You only need to ask for assistance.

My review: Very nice host who happens to be a very great cook as well! Having breakfast and dinner there is highly recommended! :) I felt very welcome and at home. Thank you!
How was your room?: Big bed, air condition, fan, my own bathroom. minibar - everything there. :)

My review: Friendly family in a safe area. English is spoken as well.

How was your room?: Good with tv and refrigerator. And very clean.

How was the food they offer?: Tasty and prepared by the family. The lady can really cook almost anything you could ask.

Other comments: Very close to the main area in the centre (walking distance)
