Arrival Varadero
From
Varadero airport take a taxi to Varadero center, costs about
30 CUC. Or ask a touringcar if you can ride with them, ask
the driver for a good price:)
Varadero has no legal casa particulares but several good budget
hotels.
If
you prefer to go directly to Havana
after your departure, check www.viazul.com
if you are in time to catch the bus, otherwise you need to
get a taxi, costs for about 80 CUC (bargain!), or make a deal
with a touring car

Take
the Viazul Bus
to Havana early
in the morning. Get off the bus at the first exit (Habana
Vieja) after the tunnel and take a taxi to your casa
particular or hotel.
Explore
the historical part of the city; Old Havana (Habana Vieja),
walk along the Malecon and salsa the night away at thr Casa
de la Musica

tomorrow's trip to Trinidad.

Be
an hour on forehand at the Viazul bus station to be sure they
do not sell your seat(s) The bus ride will take for about
5 hours. Take sweater with you, the Viazul busses have a very
enthousiastic airconditioning.

Trinidad
Visit
the historical center of Trinidad in the morning, Trinidad
is HOT after 12:00 noon. In the afternoon you could take a
tour to hike in the Escambray mountains, in Trinidad there
are several tourist offices to book a day trip, or go to the
beach of Ancon which is only 15 minutes by taxi.
Don't
forget to make a reservation for the Viazul bus and a hotel
in Varadero!
