I paid 25 cuc per night
Alejandro, Suzanne and Alejandrino are just the best hosts. They are full of life, laughter and love. Their house is warm and welcoming, with a terrace. All very clean and comfortable. We didn't eat a single meal outside of the casa as Alejandro and Suzanne cooked the best food we'd had across all of Cuba. The mojitos are quite rightly famous! We tucked away a few of those...! Breakfast is equally spectacular, especially the hot chocolate from the local cocoa plantations. Whilst Alejandrino, their son, was there during our stay and spoke English, Alejandro and Suzanne don't speak that much so having our broken Spanish did help. They were very helpful in organising evening entertainment recommendations and day trips, including bike rental. The most wonderful thing aside from the house, food, mojitos and help organising plans is their generosity of spirit. They are truly special people and I'd highly recommend you to stay with them when you go to Baracoa.
