Villa Mar

My review: Beautiful location, immaculate home and yard. Stunning view as soon as you open your door. Locked gates to the property, felt very safe. Friendly owners and respected your privacy if you wanted privacy. I was travelling with a Spanish speaker so I did not converse with the Owners much. Direct access to the sea from the yard, exactly as the pictures show. Yard was very nice for relaxing or suntanning. The room is stand-alone away from the house and its location gave you some privacy when you were in the yard. The pictures on the website are accurate but it is actually nicer in person. The neighborhood location is also good. Some restaurants and other stores on the block or within short walking distance. Also a couple parks within walking distance. Short walk to a main road for access to bus, etc. I felt safe walking the neighborhood at night.
There was construction during my stay, apparently a second rental room being added. The noise wasn't too bad, just workers in the yard, so less privacy. Given that I was there in low season that of course would be the best time for work to occur. It did not affect my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay and would have stayed all 7 nights there if I hadn't been travelling around.
How was your room?: Separate from house. Private locked entrance. Additional gated locking door if you prefer to sleep with the main door open for fresh air. Comfortable and very clean. Bed was comfortable. AC unit was quiet and very good. I slept with it off one night (yes, even in July) and was perfectly comfortable. The room cooled off nicely in the evening. Private bathroom located in the room. Very clean. Shower temperature & pressure varied a bit from day to day but no issues, was always working.
How was the food they offer?: Had chosen to eat out at the local restaurants as our schedule varied from day to day and I didn't want to be committed to being at the casa at certain times a day.
Other services they offer: Did not access any other services as wanted a private stay.
Other comments: I have no doubt that the food and other services would be excellent. Everything was immaculately clean and in excellent condition. Appeared to be very professionally managed. I would highly recommend this casa. I plan to return on my next visit.

How was your room?: A beautiful room with beautiful furniture, bathroom very good with plenty of water, and a perfect mattress, my best experience in Cuba
How was the food they offer?: The perfect food, very fresh and delicious and comes much to the sea with a beautiful sunset
Other services they offer: Prepare the best pina colada and mojito in Cuba, and a spectacular massages.
Other comments: The best place I can choose to relax, an amazing view, A BEACH IN THE PLAYGROUND FOR ONE AND EXQUISITE COCKTAILS AND FOOD, AND THE OWNERS ARE ADORABLE PEOPLE. I recommend.
