First of all, Maria is the best cook of whole Cuba! At Maria's you get the best meals of the whole island. Casa Villa La Cubana is located near the center of Vinales. In the afternoon the veranda is a wonderfull place to sit and watch the people go by. It is possible to park your car in Mario's garage. Maria is well known in Vinales and if you like she can help you with arranging tours. Mario and Maria speak Spanish but all other languages with their hand and feet so don't worry :) Mario and Maria have an air conditioned bedroom which they rent to tourists and a private bathroom with shower and toilet.

Vila La Cubana

My review: You have a lovely private area on the first floor. The view from the balcony / porch is super, you really see Cuban life. We stayed there for four days and enjoyed ourselves well.
Maria and Mario are very friendly and can help you with all your questions.
The casa is centrally located, but not on the main road.

How was your room?: Simple but clean and comfortable.

How was the food they offer?: Absolutely fantastic, the best we have had.

Other services they offer: They arranged a great horseback ride through beautiful countryside. Furthermore, we did a lot of walking through the beautiful surroundings. We met very nice people, but for a conversation the Spanish language is required.

Other comments: We didn't like the large amount of street dogs in poor condition in the mean street.

Villa Cubana

My review: This casa was perfect for our 2 night stay in Vinales.
The house is located very close to the main square.
On the porch there are 4 rocking chairs, 2 for each room that Sra Maria is renting.
Dining area is split on 2, so that if there are both rooms rented, and if you have dinner at the same time, you do not have to interact with other guests unless you want to.

How was your room?: The room was quiet, comfortable and clean, with a nice bathroom.

How was the food they offer?: The best asset of this house is Sra Maria who is such a great host, and amazing cook.
We have eaten breakfast and dinner in the casa as it was sooo delicious.
Sra Maria cooked fish (8CUC) and lobsters (10CUC) for us.
Breakfast (4CUC) was great too, a lot of fruit, juice, eggs, bread...you will definitely not begin your day hungry.

Other services they offer: Sra Maria organized an excursion for us within minutes as we arrived to her casa.
We had a great time while horseback riding in the area around Vinales (5CUC per person, per hour).

Other comments: I would highly recommend this casa.
