Welcome to the casa of Mileidi and Boris in Viñales. A casa particular located near Vinales center town square just 5 minutes walk from the Viazul bus terminal. This bed and breakfast is well equipped and furnished to rent 2 heated rooms with private bathrooms with indoor and outdoor terraces for the exclusive use of the guest. A small garden in the inner courtyard with orchids and other plants. Apart from offering a varied menu of Creole breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks they offer guided tours to the mountains, tabaco plantations, the caves, beaches an diving. Salsa lessons, drumming lessons, bike tours, horseback riding and mountain climbing are also organized. The host son speaks fluent English and is a guide in Viñales National Park . Casa Boris y Mileidy
My review: ABSOLUTELY AND FULLY RECOMMANDABLE!!! TOP !! We were 3 weeks in Cuba and slept in 6 different casas. This was the best! Mileidy and Boris, friendly, open and helpfull do everything to let you feel comfortable. The house is very ordenly, nice decorated and very well maintained. And besides very clean. Mileidy is a devoted and talented kitchen-princess.
The son of Boris and Mileidy, who works in the National Park, speaks English. Although Boris and Mileidy speak SpanishCuban they can communicate effortless with all their guests. No problem at all. :-D
How was your room?: Spacy room (16 m2), tile floor, 2 windows with glass (to keep the mosquitos outside), colorfull curtains and 2 queensize beds, table and 2 chairs, tv with remote, ceiling fan, airco and a big fridge in front of the room. A shelf at 180 cm height with some simple clothes-hangers
The complete, renovated bathroom with shower ( warm & cold water), toilet, mirror and sink. Very clean and maintained.
How was the food they offer?: DELICIOUS!!! Unfortunately Cuba has not (yet) 'MasterChef in Cuba', otherwise Mileidy will win for sure.
The breakfast is very extended and complete. Price: 5 cuc per person
For dinner you can choose between, chicken, pork, fish or even vegetarian. It's a 3 course meal served at once. And also huge portions. The lobster Mileidy prepared and served was outstanding. But also the most expensive; 10 cuc. The other menus are 8 cuc.
Boris and Mileidy can serve different softdrinks, mineral water, beer, cocktails and wine.
Other services they offer: Boris and Mileidy gives tourist information and they can organize it. We choose for horseback riding throug the green and valley cost for 5 hours 50 cuc per person. We visited a barn with a very interesting demonstation how to make/roll a cigar. And later a break with some information how and where the Arabica, the most delicate coffee type, grow. We didn't drink coffee, but fresh coconutmilk (mine with a dash of rum). After finishing the milk, we could eat the soft and young coconut from the shell.
Mileidy has also laundry sevice. We were glad after 6 days of traveling.
Other comments: In tegenstelling wat op Cuba-Junky vermeld is, is er geen internet voor gasten (*aangepast). Wij hebben ervaren bij alle 6 casas dat het niet beschikbaar was. De opgegeven reden was dat het internet heel, heel langzaam is. Bij Etecsa (staats telecombedrijf) zijn kaarten te koop om te kunnen internetten. Kosten: kaarten van 1 uur voor 2 cuc en voor 5 uur 10 cuc. Bij grote hotels kan men ook internetten. Dit kan in de door ons bezochte plaatsen, Havana, Viñales, Pino del Mar, Trinidad, Cienfuegos and Santa Clara, alleen op hotspots. Meestal is dat een centrale plek of park.
Internet op Cubamis nog geen algemeen goed en beperkt. Vanaf Cuba is Google Chrome, Facebook etc niet toegangkelijk. Wel e-mail mogelijkheden.

Casa Boris & Mileidi
My review: Casa Boris & Mileidi is a very good choice to spend a few days in Viñales. We had a nice room with pirvat bathroom and air conditioning! We stayed for 4 nights and every morning Mileidi prepared us a fresh and very good breakfast! Two times we had dinner in the house, what was also good prepared :) In 4-5 minutes walk you reach the center of Viñales, the neighbourhood is quiet and friendly!
Boris and Mileidi are very helpful and nice people and we are happy that we could spend our time in this casa:)
How was your room?: 2 doble beds, air conditioning and ventilator, privat bathroom, towels, tv
How was the food they offer?: very good and always a lot :)
Other services they offer: They organised our taxis and Boris took us to a tour in the national parque viñales

Casa Boris Y Mileidi
My review: We stayed at casa Boris y Mileidi 4 nights from 26th - 30th January 2015.
This was without any doubt the best casa we had in our trip to Cuba.
Rooms are big and clean. Location is good, not far away from the center, but still not too loud.
The food was excelent. Mileidi is a great cook, we are vegeterian and she cooked for us each night a delicious dinner.
The son, Boris Jr., speaks good English and is a very good guide at the area of Vinales, he did all the efforts to take us to the places we wanted, including Cigar factory in
Pinar del Rio and Tobacco farms in other area, all for very reasonable price.
We recomend this casa to anybody going to the area of Vinales.

Casa Boris y Mileidi
My review: We were enchanted to spend six nights at this nice home. This house is clean, spacious, calm, and serene.The roof top terrace was amazing at night, especially with a nice drink on hand and looking at the stars. This is a ideal place for a couple on their honeymoon or anyone who is looking for a family-friendly environment.
How was your room?: Our room was beautifully furnished, ample, very nicely decorated, and separated from the owners home. An unique feature is the kitchenette located at the entrance of the room with an independent door, fully equipped with a nice size fridge, so we were able to prepare our breakfast every morning.
Other services they offer: There is so much to see in Viņales, just ask Boris Jr. and he will guided you and show you around.

My review: The casa is so nice, 5 min walk from the vinales bus terminal. the casa owner name is mileidi she is so nice and help full. I really loved there breakfast and the fruits juices
i asked her fish and lobster for dinner she made it so nice. I really recommend this casa if u visit vinales.

How was the food they offer?: the food is nice , i will go back to vinales just to eat there good food for fair price
Other services they offer: they can offer you any think u want because her son boris is a tour guide he know all the good place to visit from Beach to Vally for fair price. they will help you any think u want just relax in your room and tell them they will bring it to you right away.
