Casa Brunilda
Brunilda was the most welcoming landlady we encountered in the whole of Cuba (which is saying something in such a friendly country), she kept us endlessly entertained and was patient with our less than perfect Spanish. Brunilda goes to great lengths to make sure your stay is comfortable and fun and provided onward contacts in the other towns we were visiting which saved a lot of hassle on arrival. She also guaranteed we received a very reasonable rate in all the other casas. Casa Brunilda was an excellent introduction to Cuban hospitality and I cannot fault our stay their

How was your room?: A spacious room and bathroom, gets cold at night but extra blankets are provided. There is a private covered patio area with rocking chairs and you can also sit at the porch at the front.
How was the food they offer?: The best in Cuba, Dinner was enormous and included rice, delicious bean stew, perfectly cooked fish, bread, salad, banana chips, fruit. Breakfast was equally as good (and enormous) and sandwiches were provided for day trips.
Other services they offer: Brunilda provides fantastic advice and help in getting around the rest of Cuba including contacts in other towns.

Casa Brunilda
Wonderful casa. Nice, clean room and outdoor seating area. Very welcoming family, in particular Brunilda herself, who has a great sense of humour and loves to chat. And the best food we had in Cuba by far. The bean soups were amazing, but all the food was to die for and we loved Brunilda.

How was your room?: Bright, cozy and clean. Remember you are in Cuba.
How was the food they offer?: Our lady Brunilda is a fantastic cook, we had breakfast and dinner at her casa and food was very well presented.
Other services they offer: Anything you ask them, they will help. Were able to rent bikes and got a private tour, visited caves and so on.
Other comments: Vinales is definitly worth visiting and I would recommend a stay with Brunilda, if the place is not available they will also help you find another casa.

Casa Brunilda
Our stay in Casa Brunilda was the highlight of our trip and we wish we could have stayed longer. Brunilda was a great host and we felt like we were staying with a long lost aunt. Her english is not very good, but we never had a problem communicating using dictionaries, hand gestures, and patience. We would highly recommend staying at Casa Brunilda to anyone visiting Cuba. Vinales was a lovely place to visit, and a nice contrast from the hustle and bustle of Havana.

How was your room?: The room was clean, cozy, and cute. It was nicely ventilated with shuttered windows on either side. Brunilda provided plenty of blankets in case we got cold. We had our own entrance and bathroom. I enjoyed reading in the sheltered patio, which was also where we had our meals.
How was the food they offer?: The meals were excellent. She served massive portions of chicken or fish, along with rice and beans, soup, salad, and fruits for dinner. She made us coffee and breakfast both mornings along with a ham sandwich for lunch. The fresh fruit at Brunilda's was the best we had in Cuba by far. Actually it was some of the best papaya I've ever had. When my girlfriend suffered from stomache illness, Brunilda even made her some tea from mint and anis.
Other services they offer: Brunilda booked a horseback tour with a guide. He recommended 4 hrs which allowed us to visit a cave with an underground pool as well as a Tabacco Camapasino where we drank a rum drink from a coconut and smoked a locally made cigar.
Other comments: We happened to arrive during the Vinales Carnivale which is a yearly event. The music was loud and went on late into the night. If you're after the tranquility of the valley you might want to avoid March 18 - 22nd.

Casa Brunilda
Only a few short blocks from the center of town, the casa has a great location plus warm vibes and good food courtesy of Brunilda, the gracious and attentive innkeeper. You will feast like kings on a fresh, delicious Cuban dinner for only 8 CUC! A word of warning to those sensitive to temperature: We were here during a little cold snap and it got a bit chilly in the room at night, even with the two blankets provided, so you might want to bring an extra sweater or pair of socks if traveling in the winter.

Casa Brunilda
Brunilda is the best host ever, after 2 weeks in Cuba , I still believe that. Room super clean, family supra nice and it''s like having a second mom with brunilda: best cooking, best advice on Vinales and the valley. GO THERE.
