Casa Estrella y Miguelito
My review: The casa Estrella y Miguelito is the best I experienced in Cuba: great atmosphere, a very warm and charming family, the best food, an independent and clean room with private entry, air condition, van and a fridge.
Estrella cooks tasty meals made with vegetables plucked straight from their garden at the finca in the Valle. The whole family is very helpful and absolutely nice and made me feel so welcome! They have a lot of information about things to do in Vinales, tours to the Valle, climbing, medical plants, etc.
I can warmly recommened the casa of Estrella y Miguelito - I spent 3 weeks there and every day was a pleasure!

How was your room?: The family rents one independent room with two huge double beds with firm mattresses, private bathroom with hot shower, fridge with drinks, air condition and a van. The room is very quiet and has its own veranda. It opens to the patio which is very nice and sunny. There is an own entrance and also a parking lot.
How was the food they offer?: Estrella is a great cook and uses vegetables they grow at their own garden. Dinner is very tasty and you can choose between a lot of different meals which all are very delicious and plenty. Estrella loves to cook and that is what you taste!
Breakfast comes with the best own-grown coffee, fresh bread, jam, tortilla or eggs, ham, lots of fruit and fresh fruit juice.
Other services they offer: Free laundry and coffee if you like. Also if you're hungry at lunchtime they will be happy to offer you something to eat. You can also enjoy a good mojito sitting in the rocking chairs on the terrace.
