This is a must stay Casa! Elizabeth and Samuel were great hosts and supported us greatly in undertaking our activities in Vinales and Western Cuba. We felt very much at home and welcomed for the 4 nights we stayed. The food was exceptional (so much of it), the rooms and dining area very clean and well setup. We had complete privacy and were left alone except when we requested assistance. Could not recommend a stay here more highly. Congratulations to this family on such a professional approach.

Casa La Gran Familia
My review: Really nice casa and nice family. They help you arrange everything from trips to busses etc.
They make really wonderful food. We had lobster, chicken, fish - and it all tasted fantastic! You must try the fish with yellow beans :-)
The house i clean and cosy - and we had our own entrance, bedroom, bathroom and diningroom.
We highly recommend this casa.

How was your room?: The room was nice and clean. Just perfect.
How was the food they offer?: They have their very own menu, and you can choose whatever you like :-) They make so much food for you... Rice, meat, salads, fruit and everything.
Try the lobster, fich and chicken!
Other services they offer: The help you plan your trips and take care of tickets and everything. They can also fix you up with the nearby hotel, so that you can use the swimmingpool.
Other comments: Don't hesitate to go!!!

La Gran Familia
My review: A very friendly casa, where you stay as part of the family. Extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Samuel wants you to get as much as possible out of your time in Vinales so helps plan your stay, whilst Elizabeth cooks delicious meals. Good location- central but quiet. Excellent mojitos.

My review: We stayed at Samuel and Elizabeth's for two nights in Viñales and we were thrilled, because we really felt we were getting the best experience and hospitality Cuba had to offer. Hotels are quite grand and the service at times can be a bit impersonal. At Samuel and Elizabeth's, however, we were warmly welcomed with mojitos and showed to our room (which has a small independent space in the house with its own entrance). They were at the same time very helpful, yet unintrusive. All in all, a great casa particulares/ bed and breakfast with a very good price/quality ratio, which we couldn't recommend more highly.

How was your room?: The room was spacious, with two double beds, had an ensuite bathroom/shower and A/C and was very clean and tidy. Helpful tip: for those who aren't accustomed to the noises of dawn in the countryside, a pair of earplugs is a good idea, as the cockerels start their chorus quite early!
How was the food they offer?: We decided to eat in for dinner both nights and didn't regret it, as it was one of the best meals we had during our stay in Cuba. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and incredibly generous. Breakfast included bread and spreads, pancakes, and fresh fruit, while Elizabeth gave us a choice of pork, chicken or lobster for dinner with a variety of side dishes.
Other services they offer: On the practical side of things, the casa is situated a short (5 minute) walk to Viñales' main road, and we were also given a parking space.

My review: We visited this Casa and had the most wonderful time.
Samuel and his wife were amazing and the food was outstanding. Definitely would recommend and we will be returning!!

My review: We stayed in a very beautifull room with two big beds, with our own bathroom. new towels every day, very clean. Elisabeth is a wonderfull cook
Samuel helped us to arrange all of our stay and he helped us arrange our trip and organizes excursion for everywhere you want.
We felt like a part of family and we are so gratefull to have had this great experience.
We would recommend this Casa to everyone.

Casa la gran familia
My review: La casa la gran familia est de loin la meilleure casa (sur les 5 que nous avons testé) où nous sommes allés lors de nos deux semaines à Cuba. Samuel et Elizabeth nous ont accueillis comme si nous faisions partie de leur famille et nous ont permis de passer 4 jours exceptionnels.
Samuel travaillant dans un hotel local, ils nous a aidé pour l'organisation de toutes nos excursions et même pour prendre nos billets de bus.
Elizabeth de son côté est une excellente cuisinière et généreuse sur les portions! Nous avons mangé les 4 nuits à la casa et avons tout adoré. De même pour les petits-déjeuners.
La chambre est spacieuse, très propre, avec salle de douche privée, climatisation et coffre-fort.
En résumé, cette casa n'a vraiment rien à envier aux hotels en terme de confort et cette famille est la plus chaleureuse et accueillante de Cuba!

My review: Samuel and Eliza are wonderful hosts, we spent great three day in Vinales! Samuel gave a lot of information on the are, gave maps, helped to organize horse riding tour, and recommended further casa in Trinidad for us which was a really great choice. No doubt that you will be thrilled by the countryside atmosphere and their hospitality!
The room was very clean with two big comfortable beds, the bathroom is spotless and you also have a private dining room and can leave your rented car in safety.
Eliza is a fantastic cooker, she prepared for us every day amazing dinner/breakfast. The food was very delicious and plantiful, they showed for us the cuban cuisine by offering great variety of typical in the country meals. Eliza's black bean dish as garnishing was the best we had during our 3 weeks travel in Cuba,and Samuels mojito is also unforgettable! :) Thank you again!!!

My review: This was a great casa to stay in. The casa was very spacious and clean. I wish our Spanish had been better so we could have communicated with the family better. Samuel's English was good, and he was very accommodating to us. They were able to arrange a horse tour for us, and gave us lots of great information about the area and things to do. It was a great place to stay & relax.

How was your room?: The room was very big and came with two double beds. It was equipped with A/C and a tv. There is also a private dining room with a mini fridge that they keep stocked. Also a nice private bathroom attached to the bedroom.
How was the food they offer?: They food was great, and very plentiful. We had the best pork dinner there out of our 3 weeks in Cuba. Lots of variety and the portions were very big.
Other services they offer: They let us park our car at the casa for no extra charge.
Other comments: The casa can be a bit hard to find, as you have to walk to the casa. It's a fairly new house, and there are no paved roads to the house. You will need a family member to show you how to drive there.

Casa la Gran Familia
My review: Our best casa in Cuba by far. Very clean rooms and bathroom.
Located in the heart of a popular neighbourhood, we were surrounded by animals (porks, hens, roosters , hens and dogs) and had a real feeling of what everyday life is in Cuba countryside.
Elizabeth ad Samuel are really nice people always ready to help on any subjects.
They are also very interesting people to talk to.
Elizabeth's cooking was our best experience in Cuba and as French, we know what we are talking about...). Thanks again!
