Villa las Almendras
My review: My stay at Villa las Almendras was great. Even though I only stayed two nights this family was very accomodating in offering me a delicious mango juice upon arrival perfect for the heat and giving me advice on what Viñales has to offer. To see it all you need at least a whole week. I ended up doing the horseback riding through el valle and the tobacco and coffee plantations which was arranged completely by Clara, an amazing host, which I ended up talking with her and Roberto for a couple of hours one night in her beautiful frontyard.
You can trust them with your belongings during your stay in Viñales because they are a really honest and sincere family.
How was your room?: I stayed at the green room with the two most comfortable double beds in all the casas I stayed in cuba (beware of beds and pillows in cuba) with a clean private bathroom with really hot water I never used because of the heat during the day in Cuba. Rooms are perfect for families as they offer one room with two double beds and the other room with two double and one twin bed perfect for groups of friends or families.
How was the food they offer?: The casa is really beautiful with an outdoor terrace in which they offer a complete breakfast(best option because the food in the casas is way better than any paladar in cuba for breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Other services they offer: The location: Clara and Roberto's house is located 2-3 minutes walking upon arrival at the Viazul bus station(sadly the only secure, cheapest transportation service offered in cuba). You walk down the road and you see many Casas, even one next to each other offering rooms but keep your eyes away until you get in front of Villa las Almendras and get delighted by the great family that offers this amazing house in Viñales.

Villa Las Almendras
My review: Villa Las Almendras is a wonderfully comfortable house with two bedrooms for rent, both with private bathrooms and air conditioning. Roberto, Clara, and their son Roberto are the most gracious hosts and are ready and willing to help with anything at all that you need. They prepare and ample and delicious meal for breakfast and dinner - highly recommend eating at the house at least some of the meals! Roberto helped plan day trips, such as horseback riding, trip to beach, tobacco tour, and all of our transportation to and from Havana. They made the trip easy and fun and we will be sure to return to their house when we get back to Viñales!
How was your room?: Comfortable bed, ample space, private attached bathroom
How was the food they offer?: Delicious food, and plenty of it!

Villa Las Almendras
My review: Our stay with Roberto and Carla at their house was absolutely wonderful. It was the first casa that we visited and although they speak no English and we speak no Spanish we left feeling part of the family. Her food was fantastic and their service was second to none. They helped to organise tours and taxis and made us amazing pina coladas for free and gave us a bottle of wine to take when we left. We recommended this casa to 4 other groups just during the rest of the time at Cuba. It was our favourite stay.
We recommend not buying the cigars at the tobacco farm although we had a lovely day there on horses.
How was your room?: Clean and big with added Mosquito nets
How was the food they offer?: Fantastic & a LOT of it.
