My review: Yiilian and her family were very welcoming and friendly; especially her parents. We felt comfortable coming and going when we needed to (even early hours of the morning). Everyone could speak fluent english or really made an effort to- but make sure you return even a little spanish as they really appreciate it. The room was great: two double beds and a private bathroom.. even a hairdryer! We wished we had have spent more time talking to the family and interacting with them but unfortunately our spanish wasnt up to scratch- so if i can recommend learn as much as you can before staying in a homestay. One last thing- the food was amazing and plentiful!

My review: We were first at her sisters Casa Villa Christal, but there was no place. She recommended her sister, Martha Chinoles Guzman. We went there, in a nearby street (Calle Joaquin Perez 32 not 5 (as the quide says. It was very rural and charming. Martha and Papito are very quiet and hostible. They're very glad to see quests, because the are not situated in the mainstreet. Martha makes delicious cake and other food.

My review: I was travelling with 2 college students. After studying percussion in La Habana for 2 weeks, we decided, for the 3rd week, to discover a completely different aspect of Cuba.
We rented a car and ended in Vinales, which is beautiful, but we were staying in town and were looking for more activities and contacts with people. During a wonderful horsebackriding excursion,William, our guide told us that his mother was renting rooms. So, we decided to move in Villa Cocosolo, in the countryside, in front of tobacco fields,with a beautiful view on the famous mogotes (hills. Our hosts were so nice and friendly that felt immediately at home. Thats we were looking for. A wonderful experience.
We still communicate with this beautiful family.

How was your room?: Our rooms were clean, comfortable,quiet (we hear the birds in the morning). Private.
How was the food they offer?: A lot of food, well prepared. Lots of fruits,depending of the season, of course.
Other services they offer: The house has a terrasse on the roof, so you can have your meal on top, looking to the beautiful scenery of Vinales, the tobacco fields, the wonderful hills.
Our hosts also offer horsebackriding excursions. It definitely worths it. It will be the oppurtunity to get into the nature. Fields, lagoon (you can swim).
Don't miss the best mojito at the campesino's house, while he rolls a cigar for you!
Other comments: This place has been a highlight of our trip, which was already wondweful.
Cuba is very interesting, specially for those moments sharing with so nice persons.
Odalis (the mother) is incredibly enthusiastic and friendly.
The whole family is always helpful. They also have this cuban sense of humor. Rapidly, you feel that you are part of the family. We spent hours playing domino at night, having a good time and laughing.
This house is still at a walking distance from the center, where you can go out at night.
Odalis can meet you at the bus station and bring you to their place. You can count on them.

My review: Me and my boyfriend arrived to Vinales without any booking,we were approached as soon we left the bus and this house was a fantastic choice,is located in a quiet street just 10 minutes walk from the busy main rd.
the owners treat us as their own family and my partner, being cuban himself, love them to bits.the breakfast and dinner are fabulous in amount and quality,i havent eaten a lobster so big before and the fresh juice was amazing.
i would recommended this place without any doubt,after i have visited Cuba so many times i can say this is one of my favourites.
