I visit Cuba on a regular basis alone and with my family. There is only one Casa in Cuba where I feel 100 percent at home...this is it. Spacious, Airy, Friendly and safe, right in the center of Santiago. Fluent English and French spoken, great food, great hosts..What more can I say
Casa style: Fantastic hosts, Comfertable, Charming, Safe
Amenities: TV, Airconditioning, Private bathroom, Garden, Ceiling fan
How was your room?: Comfortable, Clean, Light with nice bathroom en suite
How was the food the offer?: Great dinners and light breakfasts
Other services they offer: Hospitality, freedom safety, great for kids (babysitting by arrangement)
Other comments: I can't recommend this place enough !

We stayed with Nestor and his family for 3 nights. This was our favourite casa during our whole trip.
The casa is a short walk from the centre of the city - but is on a side street, so isn't noisy.
There is a roof terrace.
The hosts are lovely people. Nestor speaks good English as was very helpful. We had someone meet us as we got off the bus, and Nestor arranged good accomodation for us in Santa Clara once we left Santiago.
Casa style: Quiet, Fantastic hosts, Roomy, Safe
Amenities: Airconditioning, Private bathroom, Balcony, Ceiling fan
How was your room?: The room was very large with 2 beds, a double and a single, with a spacious ensuite bathroom. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.
There is a ceiling fan and air conditioner in the room. We found it to be a nice quiet place.
How was the food the offer?: The food was fantastic. Nestor's wife Carmen does most of the cooking - and the lady can cook!. Breakfasts were great and set us up for the day ahead. We were asked at breakfast each morning what we'd like for dinner. Highlights were Nestor's special soup, and Carmen's amazing flan. You'll eat well here!
We found the options for eating out fairly limited in Santiago, so to be able to get great meals in our casa was a real bonus.
Other comments: We spent hours on the rooftop terrace chatting to Nestor, who's a very friendly guy. We learnt a lot about Cuba from him. He was very keen to practice his English and helped us a lot with our limited Spanish.
