Casa Mar Verde

My review: Great casa located very closed to the beach. Ruben is extremely friendly and helpful
He speaks fluent English and is always willing to go the extra mile. we stayed at his casa two nights and we loved it. The Playa santa lucia is one of the most wonderful places in Cuba. Very quiet. Hotels are located approx 2 km away, there is a bar nearby and more beaches

How was your room?: The room was clean and had all what was needed for such a short stay
How was the food they offer?: The food was very good
Other services they offer: advice. Ruben helped me to rent a horse :) and show hot o make mohito

My review: I stayed here for 4 days in april 2016. Very lovely and friendly people. The host Ruban speaks Spanish and English very well. Ruban is a good sense of humor and is a very helpful person. When I arrived in Santa Lucia, Ruban was waiting for me at the busstop. My room was very clean. I had the best mojito's here. This casa is a great alternative for all the over-priced all-inclusive hotels in Santa Lucia and offers more bang for the buck. Really enjoyed my stay here. I can highly recommend this place!
How was your room?: The room was clean and had 2 separate double beds with a private toilet and bathroom. The shower has cold and hot water. The room had a fan, airconditioning and also a fridge.
How was the food they offer?: I had breakfast and dinner here. Both were A-MA-ZING! Everything is served in huge portions. I can specially recommend the Lobster, but basically everything was very tasteful. Ruban used to work as a barman. He can make some of the best (non-alcoholic) cocktails/ mixed drinks for you. Don't forget to try these out! I really liked the mojito's

They offer good food for a reasonable price. Specially lobster. They have 2 rooms. One in their house and one in the backyard. With possibility to relax in a hammock.
How was your room?: Room was big with one double bed a done single bed. Possibility to have one extra single bed.
How was the food they offer?: Excellent and for a good price.
Other services they offer: Laundry, private parking and all help you need.
