Casa de Renta Martha Santana

My review: This casa particular is a good opportunity if you don`t want to stay in a hotel in Santa Lucia. It is just in front of the beach in the residencial area (not hotel area). The hosts - Martha and Ernesto - were especially kind and made our stay as great as possible. Martha's cooking was delicious, she prepared the best meals we had in Cuba! If you go to Santa Lucía make sure you stay here!

How was your room?: The room was big and comfortable, the mattresses were good. There was a refrigerator in the room with cold drinks.
How was the food they offer?: Martha's cooking was delicious, she prepared the best meals we had in Cuba! You need to order the fish, you will be served a huge red snapper -for each person - which is deliciously prepared on the barbecue. The fish is served with fresh vegetables which grow in Martha's and Ernesto's garden next to the house. The food is served on a terrace overlooking the garden.

We ate here every day and the food was the best that we enjoyed in our trip to Cuba. Martha and her family were so fantastic I would recommend them to anyone!
Although we did not stay in the casa because we had already prepaid another place, next time we would definitely stay with Martha. We asked if we could eat breakfast and dinner with Martha and they prepared the best food we enjoyed in our trip to Cuba. Lots of fresh seafood and vegetables from their garden and very good prices.

How was your room?: The rooms we saw were very spacious and clean with fridges, private bathrooms, and air conditioning.

How was the food they offer?: The best food we had in Cuba - good variety and always fresh seafood and vegetables. Martha is an amazing cook!
