Hostal Casa Blanca

My review: I was referred by Dr. Hernan Garcia of Hostal Prado del Mantecon to this house which is operated by his daughter Maribel and her sister Angela. He had problems with the sewage system in the old house and did not want my stay to be affected.
Maribel picked me up and I was surprised by the luxurious state of her house on the edge of town, near Punta Gorda. The casa is high end en modern, excellent for people who have a rental car/safe parking. My room could sleep three people. The center of Cienfuegos is a 15-20 minute walk along the Prado bayside. Hostal Casa Blanca offers a good and abundant breakfast at the patio under the mango trees and can cook dinner at request. Maribel and Angela have daytime jobs, the rest of the family will take care of you if necessary. They arranged a driver to take me to Jardin Botanico Soledad, which is a little outside of Cienfuegos.

How was your room?: Excellent, good beds, quiet airconditioning, safe house, great shower, refridgerator.

How was the food they offer?: Breakfast was good, fruit, eggs, bread, yoghurt, juice and of course coffee.

Other services they offer: Help with arranging trip with a local driver.

Other comments: Maribel and Angela speak very well English, they have two rooms for guests.
