Very fresh and lighty casa with a big rooftop terrace, chairs and umbrellas to have breakfast or see the sunset. Inés María is a diplomated Spanish Teacher and can help people who wants to learn the Spanish language.

Casa Ines-Maria

My review: I had a wonderful time staying with Ines Maria in Cienfuegos. She genuinely is such a wonderful person. I wish I could have spent more time there! She lives in a beautiful house with many rooms and a terrace. The cook prepared great meals for us with tons of options. We shared a lot of laughs with Ines-Maria and she made sure that we enjoyed our time in Cienfuegos, even though just for a night!

How was your room?: Very comfortable, air conditioned

How was the food they offer?: Delicious food with lots of variety

Other services they offer: Taxi to el nicho and on to trinidad (highly recommend!!)

Other comments: This house is great and well located. You will have a great time.

My review: After emailing about confirmation of accomodation and calling the night before I was very disappointed and angry to be turned away. When I called the previous evening (as requested) I was told that someone would pick us up from the bus station and take us to the casa because I never recieved the address.
We waited for over an hour and no one showed up, then a kind gentleman who was a friend of many of the casa owners offered to take us to the address. When we arrived we were told the water was off/no room available/double booked/etc, so I have no idea if one or more of these excuses were true. There was no apology or offer of where to go next, more or less get out its not our problem!
We were then dragged around for an hour looking for a room in another casa. Jose' was very good and managed to find us a place but I am infuriated at the way we were treated. It was a cumulation of errors and very bad manners and from this experience I would not recommend this casa.

My review: I stayed at Casa Ines Maria in January 2013, for a few days. The place is nice and clean. The room is simple but functional and comfortable. The location is very close to the center, but far enough not to be bothered. I spent most of my time there with Amed, Ines husband if I recall well. We had very nice and interesting conversations. He also cooks awesomely. Would definitely recommend it and come back.

Me aloje en esta casa unos dias, en Enero 2013. El lugar es lindo, tranquilo y limpio. La habitacion es simple pero funcional y confortable. Esta ubicada cerca del centro, pero lo suficientemente lejos como para no ser molestado. La mayor parte de mi tiempo en la casa lo pase con Amed, esposo de Ines Maria si recuerdo bien. Tuvimos conversaciones agradables e interesantes. Tambien cocina como los dioses. Recomiendo esta casa y volveria sin dudarlo.
