Casa Margarita Jimenez Marín

My review: The house was big and very clean and an internal very cute courtyard where you can enjoy of a great chat evening with the owners of the house. Close to the Jose Marti Park and the busstation and and a few blocks away from the mall.

How was your room?: The room was big with internal bathroom with hot shower, and a fridge for cold drinks, which it is a very lovely plus, that liked me a lot.

How was the food they offer?: The cuban homemade dinner and breakfast were very cheap, tasty and a lot!

Other services they offer: The grandson, pick me up at the bus station and help me with all the tourist information.

Other comments: Of the several house I stayed this one would be the one I would choose again if I go back to Cuba.

The accommodations were very good in terms of cleanliness, large room size, large private bath with hot water shower, air conditioning. The casa is very centrally located (less than a block from the Prado, a few short blocks from the pedestrian mall, the Hotel Union, Etecsa office, etc.) but still quiet. But above all we liked the warmth, generosity, and helpfulness of the hosts, Margarita and her son Isidro. (The grandson met us at the bus
station.) And the home cooking is both excellent and bountiful. Of the four casas where we stayed during our Cuban travels, this was the best (though we liked all of them).
