Casa Alejandro & Nancy

My review: We had a nice time at the house of Alejandro and Nancy. They are very friendly and helpful family and we felt very very comfortable. Our bedroom was clean and nice. It was good to sit on the terrace, getting a fresh breeze.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent.
We will come back !

My review: First of all I admit that my stay in Baracoa was prolonged because of the family! It was more than renting a room to stay, but more like visiting old friends – if you know what I mean. Their son – Alejandro speaks English

How was your room?: The room in on a first floor, spacious with 2 bads, shower with hot water and a balcony.
The plus of the casa is that is not by the main street – its quiet, and it is not by the sea (one block away) – maybe the views are better, but with a strong wind you’ll not enjoy the balcony at all and don’t have moisture in the room.

How was the food they offer?: Nancy cooks extremely well and you cannot miss shrimps made by her – my favorite are with coconut souse. And the bean-soup the best in Cuba!

Other services they offer: They can help with bikes renting and advice on activities in the area.
