La Casa de Ana

My review: This is THE BEST house in La Habana, not only for the house itself but also for the hosts. The house is quiet and relaxing, very clean and the service is great. The hosts will help you organizing your tour through the island as they have many connections with other houses of the same very good level. You will become friends with Ana and Pepe and their staff as they all are wonderful people and you will feel like home at their casa particular!

How was your room?: Perfect, very clean and confortable
How was the food they offer?: Fantastic, fresh fruit juice, hot bread, jam, butter, fresh fruit, coffe for breakfast and a wide choice for dinner (soup, chicken, pork, fish, lobster etc.)

La Casa de Ana

My review: This Casa is the very best , this was the second time I visit Cuba and in both cases stay there because of the services they do offer, the hosts are really great and extremely helpful,this is something rather common to the cuban character but Casa de Ana is very special because they know very well about Cuban story , geography and probably because of their large experience in the business they are really informed and have a great network to help you to get across the Island, plus they are kind extremely nice respectful people. The Casa is very comfortable, clean the services of breakfast and dinners are very good ! and the location could not be better from there you get easily to every part of the city and at once avoid the touristic frenzy of old havana. To sit in Casa de Ana porch is a wonderful so as to enjoy the free salsa lessons, their english is great !.

How was your room?: uper nice and clean to the spot , big comfortable beds , re-filled mini-bar, airco and ceiling fan . The bathroom have a shower with cold and hot water. The towels are change daily , you have toiled paper and soap . The decoration with original photos from a cuban artist Alina Sardiña is really beautiful.
How was the food they offer?: The food was really great the breakfast very well serve and the dinners really very testy , loved the lobster and the vegetarian option , this is rare in Cuba but the vegetarian meals I had at La Casa the Ana are by far the very best. The prices are not higher than in a restaurant having into account they are a lodging facility.
Other services they offer: They help you in everything you need. They have a tourist guided tours to the Old Havana that are amazing ,also have laundry and internet access, if they do not have availability they will help you to find another nice place to stay nearby the casa so you still can enjoy their services if you want too.
Other comments: The house counts with a night guard .

Excellent Casa! Very comfortable place, great trustworthy people, good location. Room was as good as a resort, clean, A/C, private bathroom and a mini fridge always stocked with water and beer. Food was very good and the coffee was the best I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend this casa.
