Our property is a mix between old and news building, we have two rooms for hire, with restrooms each. One of them is on the second floor, its a very spacious room, quiet and peaceful. The other one is on the top floor, its a very spacious room too, with TV, radio, Cd player, fridge. Both rooms have Air Conditioner, Restroom with hot and cold water, flat roof with a beutiful city view. We also offer laundry service, breakfast, lunch and dinner service, and internet.

Casa Jose Guillen

I looked for a long time before picking a place to stay and I'm really glad that I did as this was a nice introduction to Cuba. It was my first time in Havana and I heard this was a good area to stay, to be partly away from the hussle of Central Havana. The area and house gave me the feeling of being apart of the community. The couple of this Casa spoke Spanish and were very accomdating. I really couldn't have asked for anything more. I felt safe right away as they greated me when I arrived. I stayed at other expensive hotels after because I was traveling through out Cuba, and nothing compared to this stay. It was very private, my requested meals were superb and everything was clean and functioning with my own private bathroom, roof top deck, table, chairs and hammock. They even serv! ed me breakfeast one morning up on the roof top deck.

How was your room?: The room was clean, well orgainzied, lots of closet space, top floor, it felt like my own residence. The roof top deck was perfect, just a step out my door and onto a near 360 degree view of the nearby neighbourhood.
How was the food they offer?: The food was far better then I had hoped. I was treated so well, everything was fresh. The coffee, the fruit drinks, fresh seafood one night and salads for a reasonable price.
Other comments: I would recommend this place to any of my friends. I will go back here if I visit Cuba. It was a safe and comfortable place to begin my journeys.
