Casa Orlando

My review: Casa Orlando is a magnificent restored "Mansion" in the Vedado section of Havana.

Orlando and his family do everything to make your stay most enjoyable. The rooms are large and immaculately clean and comfortable.

The breakfasts that are served either in the dining area or the spacious veranda are absolutely fabulous and are only $5.00! The huge plate of fruit alone is worth more than the price and you also get lovely coffee; juice; bread and eggs any way you like them.

The location is superb; with plenty of taxis available to take you anywhere in Havana for a couple of dollars. There is a marvelous little bar right next door with two of the friendliest bartenders you will ever meet.

I cant say enough good things about this house... it is truly your home away from home in Havana.

How was your room?: Wonderful spacious and immaculately clean

How was the food they offer?: The breakfasts were absolutely to die for!

Other services they offer: Although Orlando speaks only Spanish; he goes out of his way to make you feel at home. His son speaks English well and is a pleasure to talk to.

My review: A very beautiful comfortable restored old Havanna house with marbleblast staircase, high ceilings and big comfortable rooms, big beautiful balcony one enjoy breakfast on.

How was your room?: Peaceful, clean, comfortable an quite.

How was the food they offer?: Super

Other services they offer: Laundry, taxi actually anything we asked for Orlando was prepared to help with.

Other comments: My house in Havanna. Felt i left family behind.
