Located on the 2nd floor, this light, airy and elegant apartment, with fabulous high ceilings throughout, comprises a beautiful Colonial lounge and dining area leading to a large balcony; a well-equipped kitchenette for guest use and 3 charming, very individual and well-appointed bedrooms, 1 containing a double bed, 1 containing a King-size Bed and 1 containing both a double and a single bed, all with lovely and contemporary en-suite bathrooms. In true Cuban style, the house is connected by a balcony style exterior passageway.
The accommodation has been restored and refurbished to a fabulous standard with great attention to detail and a quality of interior rarely found in Cuba. Its elegant décor is further enhanced by the soft and atmospheric lighting from our many lovingly renovated antique bronze and crystal chandeliers / wall lights; combined with our imaginatively and quirkily repurposed and reutilised original features and furnishings.
We are an English / Cuban couple who live, work and study within and are passionate about this beautiful, unique, vibrant, magical, and fascinating city of La Habana. As well as being home from home for our guests, the Casa is also very much our home and we both very much want to share our love for and to help you understand both the history, culture and the challenges of the modern day and to embrace the complex mix that is Cuba. Capitolio, Bacardi building and the dome of the Presidency could be seen from here. We offer you 3 rooms with air-conditioners and private bathrooms, decorated with antique, colonial furniture, double beds, equipped kitchen on your disposal, as well as spacious dining and living room and a roof terrace.
