Casa Martha Gonzales

My review: This Casa was below average. I stayed in several casas in cuba and this was the only one below average. The room was good with airconditioning. But the bathroom was the worst I had seen in a cuban casa. The toilet wont flush. I had to flush it 15 times before it cleared. I was there on a vacation and this was not something I wanted to spend my time on. There was no hot water just cold water in the shower. Suzy the owners daughter did help me with the laundry, but she was not pleasant to deal with. The bathroom sink wont drain and you have to push the water with your hands, yuk. I was also allowed to use the kitchen, but it was a little messy. Overall, I would not recommend anyone to stay here until the bathroom is fixed.
How was your room?: The room was ok, had airconditioner and a large bed.
How was the food they offer?: I did not eat their food.
Other services they offer: Laundry, some help with phone
Other comments: Poor or no english, rude attitude by owner lady and daughter.

Room of Sra. Martha Gonzalez

My review: We stayed here for 1 night 15th February 2015 whilst cycling around the East of Cuba. Our room was clean and comfortable with an en-suite shower room and the family were very pleasant and friendly.
Martha is a very good cook and her roast pork was delicious.
