My review: Per la prima volta ho visitato a gennaio di questo anno la parte orientale di Cuba e
ho soggiornato in questa graziosa casa situata in un tranquillo paese che si chiama Puerto Padre.
La casa e' divisa in due piani dove la parte inferiore e' abitata dalla famiglia del titolare mentre le 2 stanze del piano superiore sono per i clienti.
Bisogna fare un po' attenzione quando si sale al piano superiore, le ridotte dimensioni della scala e la forma a chiocciola possono creare qualche problema soprattutto alle persone anziane.
How was your room?: Devo dire che la stanza e' veramente confortevole, pulita e con tutte le comodita' necessarie, dispone di uno spazioso balcone dove si puo' godere la sera della piacevole brezza che giunge dal mare. Molto originale e di ottima qualita' l'arredamento e le finiture in legno della stanza costruite dal proprietario con una cura artigianale che mi ha sorpreso.
How was the food they offer?: I pasti vengono serviti al piano inferiore con un ampio spazio a contatto diretto con la famiglia del titolare la cui gentilezza e disponibilita' mi ha letteralmente "conquistato". Mi sono sentito veramente a mio agio e proprio per questo, oltre all'abbondante colazione, ho spesso usufruito anche dei pasti principali vista la varieta' dei piatti tipici cubani che ho potuto provare (..ottimo il congri' cucinato dalla signora) e la costante simpatia dei titolari.

Other comments: Per concludere consiglio sinceramente questa casa per chi vuole una vacanza un po' "fuori dai soliti schemi" e spero di tornarci anch'io al piu' presto.

My review: As I have stayed in this casa several times, I can highly recommend it.
The modern, comfortable upstairs room w. priv. bathroom is clean and airy and has its own terrace, very appreciated for the fresh brise from the sea (I only used the AC at night). Meals are served on the family's downstairs dining table in the eat-in kitchen and you can see how everything is prepared. The owners are very attentive and thankful when they realize you like their efforts.
How was your room?: Modern, comfortable, large, spotless clean, with ample closet space
How was the food they offer?: I learned to like Cuban home cooked meals. They always ask what you would like and prepare everything fresh right before you.
Other services they offer: Laundry service.
Other comments: A little sore point are the stairs down for the meals, small & steep, but I managed
