Casa Anay
My review: this casa is basic. however, it is everything you might need in cuba. first off, the location is perfect. in the middle of the city, right near all the bars and clubs, a 3 minute walk to a great beach, a functional kitchen and all the privacy you need. Anay and her husband are both super friendly and available.
How was your room?: clean and comfortable. working A/C , hot water and private washroom.
How was the food they offer?: i did not eat there however had my coffee there many mornings at no cost and she kept offering to share her meals with us. very friendly.
Other services they offer: they offer laundry service for a little extra money. However when she saw me doing my own laundry she gave me accessibility to her facilities for free.
Other comments: I would totally stay there again. Anay is great the house is perfectly located and the price for varadero is quite good.
I suggest you bring some kind of mosquito repellent, it might be because it was so close to the ocean, but there seemed to be a lot.

Casa AnAY
My review: Friendly and helpfull hostess, who runs a souvenir-stall just round the corner. The room is small, basic and clean and there is a small kitchen, where you can prepare food, if you want.
The beach is just around the block, where you also find the small Varadero museum. Just opposite the casa is the charming Jasone park, with small restaurants and lovely gardens. The casa is also close to the bar in Calle 62, where there is out door live music in the evenings.
Casa specifics: Quiet, Children in the house, Pets in the house
Amenities: TV, Private entrance, Airconditioning, Private bathroom, Breakfast service, Dinner service, Bathroom with shower |
