My review: I have nothing bad to say about this casa. Our stay here was very pleasant and the owners made us feel right at home. Their home is clean and roomy. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. Breakfast is not included but for $3 cuc's you can have the biggest meal possible. The breakfasts included eggs done to your liking, fresh fruits & juices, bread, cheese, ham, coffee or tea, milk, jams and honey for your toast. Boca de Camarioca is about 9 kms from Varadero but it's well worth the extra distance if you want to do shopping or go to the beach. The house is about 100 feet from the ocean. An assortment of dogs, cats, chickens and wild birds greet you every morning in the neighborhood. There's a secure parking area so there was no need to worry about our rental car at night. This was our first time staying in casa particulars and we had such a wonderful time we will definitely be back just as soon as we can.

How was your room?: Spacious and airy with a huge king size bed.

How was the food they offer?: Fantastic

My review: We had a wonderful stay here!

The house is not located in Varadero and a taxi is needed to get to the Varadero beach. However, the family and the room were so wonderful that it easily made one of our best stays at Cuba.

To get there by Viazul bus you have to ask the driver to drop you off before the Varadero station. Olivia will give you instructions on where exactly to be dropped off. They will be waiting for you right where you get off the bus. On out first night we were really hungry but we didn't know how the dinner was so we only ordered one meal to share. But I think they could see that were both really hungry so they actually served two full meals for us for the price of only one! The dinner was so delicious that we immediately decided to eat there the following day also. Later we found out the grandma was the master chef in the kitchen.

We only spoke a little Spanish so we couldn't really hold a meaningful conversation with them but they were so hospitable and always tried to talk with us patiently and made us feel really at home.

The room was lovely and had a large patio attached to it. There was also another balcony specifically for hanging wet clothes and bathing suits. So thoughtful!

We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back.

How was the food they offer?: Both the breakfast and dinner were the best meals we had. There was always fresh fruit for every meal! The portions are really large and always comes with salad and rice and side dish. Really really delicious.
