We had a fantastic time. The house is centrally located in Varadero making it extremely convenient to everything. I loved sitting by the pool with my cup of coffee and a book. House was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. La China is an angel. Casa La China was a pleasure every single time and truly enjoyed their promptness and kindness all throughout. Sincerely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! How was your room?: Perfect.

Casa La China Varadero
My review: The location of this Casa was very important to us. It is 3 blocks away from the beach. One block away from a decent food take-out place, two blocks away from a bakery, two blocks away from two grocery stores, one block away from the ice cream shop.
The house is spacious with a wonderful patio where you can eat, relax, and enjoy a comfortable sit. There is a main road not to far from it where you hear bus traffic and road traffic, but it is not too busy. At night, the place is quiet. The street is lively, meaning there is always someone walking around, which gives some life to the area.
The hosts, Carida and her husband, are wonderful. They have a very good sense of customer service and very open to new ideas and helping you guide your vacation. Carida has been in the hospitality business for a long time, so she understands good customer service. She speaks English and offers good advice for your journey.
They keep their three rooms in great condition. My family of four, stayed in the medium size room. They have a smaller room with a double bed, and a larger room with a living space and couch.
How was your room?: The room was clean and decorated nicely. The windows have screens!!! So no mosquitoes bugging you at night. The private bathroom was clean with a spacious shower. The room was spacious for two beds, which they provided a mattress for the kids. Our room did not include a fridge. The others rooms though had fridges.
How was the food they offer?: We bought their breakfast service for 5 CUC per person. It was a decent breakfast with fruit plate, eggs, ham slice, cheese slice, smoothie, and bread. Just tell them the time, and they will serve it. I was not offered a dinner service, but I am sure it is possible to arrange.
Other comments: I recommend calling this Casa in advance. It is a popular destination and can fill up quickly. I also would come back to this place if I was to visit Varadero again.
