Two story house built in 1830 by French immigrants where a real Trinitarian novel "La Flor del Tropico" has been written. In 1927 the house was bought any change to the original colonial structure, before 1959 it was a pharmacy. The Bastidas family is one of the oldest families in Trinidad (1730) and had been pharmacists for many generations. In 1994 the house was a private restaurant (paladar) and today they have a casa particular and rent out 2 rooms at the second floor.
There is a large room with an ensuite balcony with the view of the Trinidad mountains and with a window over looking the streets. There also is a second smaller room with a view over the shore. Both rooms are air conditioned have antiques beds and ornament ceilings. Hot and cold water 24 hours a day. Terrace with a view as well one at the third floor.
