A nice young couple just started this casa particular a few steps from the beach and with a stunning rooftop terrace overlooking La Boca and the bay and the Escambray Mountains. Fantastic location for a nice stay at the beach.
Dulce and Jose rent out two rooms with private bathroom.

Hostal El Galeon

My review: A very relaxed and friendly place with a charming host (known by his nickname Peralto) helped by his family. Room was clean and neat with a roof terrace outside with sea view. It is a few kilometers outside Trinidad on the coast and the beach is 50 meters away. Not a great beach but fun to sit and watch the fishermen and good for a dip in the sea. Shingle beach made up of small sea shell and coral fragments. Peralto is a great chef and our dinner was the high light of our Cuba cullinary experience. We could not have had a better welcome.
How was your room?: Clean, tidy and comfortable. Good bathroom.
How was the food they offer?: Excellent. A really great meal anywhere let alone being exceptional in Cuba.

Hostel El Galleon

My review: This is a lovely laid back place with sea views from the terraces, run by a very friendly and helpful family,the rooms are clean the two upstairs have terraces and there is a roof terrace for watching the sun slip down over the ocean. Its high point is the fantastic food, we had very fresh fish, caught that morning, delicious lamb and wonderful fruit salad, Jose, Dulce and family run this place with passion and he mixes the best mojitos. A mine of information about the local area Jose was both informative and humorous, we ended up staying longer than anticipated and would recommend it without reservation.
How was your room?: Clean, place to hang clothes, big windows
How was the food they offer?: The best ingredients , simply cooked and well seasoned

My review: It had a restaurant attached
A lovely view from the roof especially at night
A nice fresh breee at night for sleeping

How was your room?: Comfortable & safe Had a clothes line we could dry swimsuits etc
We stayed 5 days & room was not cleaned so it got pretty sandy

How was the food they offer?: Good They tried hard to please

Hostal "El Galeón"

My review: Actually, we stayed in another casa in La Boca.
But:
If we come back one day to La Boca we will definitely stay at Hostal "El Galeón". The people there were the nicest around and we had there our dinner more or less every evening which was not only very fair-priced but also very delicious! Then the nice conversations and the beautiful terrace. Very very fine there!

Casa El Galeon

My review: We really enjoyed our stay at El Galeon in Playa Boca, the perfect point to start
a trip to Trinidad or Playa Ancon - both - "must-sees" of Cuba (if you're in this region)
From El Galeon it is just a short stroll to the small beach of Playa Boca, but you can also enjoy or start the day at one of the terraces in the accomodation.
The food here was fantastic (also for vegeterians like us) and the mojitos were the best we ever had! There are two or three different rooms - all very nice and clean - so when you come to Playa Boca we recommend to stay at El Galeon!

Other comments: The Family - Jose A. Peralta, Dulce Peiso, their son...- is very charming and the two dogs (Cocker Spaniels) also ; )

Casa El Galeon

Stayed at this casa for 7 nights. and it was the best 7 nights of any casa we have stayed at in cuba. food was fresh,plenty of it and well presented, Jose and dulce are very friendly and helpfull hosts. the accomadation was very clean and well kept.
