Hostal Casa Cantero is just 3 blocks from the famous Plaza Mayor in the middle of the colonial center. Cantero rents two airconditioned rooms with each two beds and ensuite bathroom. Hot water 24 hours a day, a mirror and a closet for your clothes and other belongings.

Hostal Casa Cantero

My review: Migdalia is the best cook we had on Cuba (we stayed here 5 days), all these different arts to serve fisch and chicken, that was delicious!
The beds are ok and you really are a part of the family.
The roof, where they serve the food is very nice, but windy. It has a beautiful view.
How was your room?: Bed was ok
How was the food they offer?: great!
Other services they offer: We didn't use other services.

My review: One of the best experiences we've had during our trip to the magical vastness of Cuba was visiting the city of Trinidad .
The amazing experience we had could be attributed mainly to two things : music creating an amazing atmosphere, occupying every pavement stone and every club ... and The Casa of Migdaliya . ( Casa Cantero )

Have not had time to get our feet on the ground while getting off the bus, and already were surrounded by the crowd pen you. And in the crowd - a sign: " Joanna and Tal " . That's how we met our second family in Cuba.

I can tell you about the beautiful house , comfortable room, Migdalia's amazing food and home, or even that there is a computer with internet ! ! ! ( At this point of the trip, you will discover how rare it is to find Internet access , and how fun it is to send an email after a few days of detachment ) ... But all these things will not be able to express the hospitality we received from Migdalia and Lazaro ...
Why ? Because it was just so much more then a Casa . Migdalia is a warm woman, wise and extremely efficient ... lets the guest know he has it space , but if you need even the smallest thing ... food, a dance teacher , a horse ride , how to get to the next destination , or just advice about marital life ... Ask, and she'll have a solution for you ... as if she felt it even before you asked (but never offered before that.... ) .

Her husband , who entertained us with his stories , and taught me the real secret to salsa dancer " as Cubans " (hint - you can not teach it ) ....

Together, with amazing family around, they were able to find the fine line between giving us an opportunity to find our own way and spend time with each other, and giving us the warmth of a home away from home. The advice and the ability to organize all of the activities as we want it... all with an effortless smile and without insisting .

If you are looking for a lovely room , hot and delicious food ( Mom , I got a little recipe ... ), Internet access (you'll see how much it helps ) ,encouraging smile , and of course a fair price ( you can count on Migdalia with your eyes closed ) ... this is the place for you.

While you're there ... please do not forget to give a warm greeting and longing from Tal Joanna ...

Hostal Casa Cantero

My review: My husband and I had an excellent stay at this Casa particular.
The Hostal Cantero is situated in a very nice house. It is spacious, calm and clean. The bedroom is big (high celings!) and nicely decorated.The bathroom is sparkling clean The breakfast is tasty and hearty!
We could take advantage of a little terrace on the roof.
Migdalia and her family are very friendly, cheerfull and helpfull. Very nice people.
The casa is very well located (in old Trinidad, the area is full of life!) a walking distance from everything!.
We heartily recommend this nice Casa to everyone who want to discover this biutiful city!!!

My review: We stayed four days and it was very nice. Our hosts did everything to make our stay pleasant. The house is close to the city centre. It is a nice colonial house.

How was the food they offer?: Breakfast was good. We only had dinner in the house once but it was very good and tasteful.
