Hostal Casa de Lara | Trinidad | Cuba
Photos Hostal Casa de Lara
Hostal Casa de Lara is located in the historical center of Trinidad de Cuba, one of the most precious cities in Latin America, founded in 1514.
La Casa de Lara consists of two independent colonial houses which surround a spacious central patio where tropical plants grow together with small birds. One of the houses dates back from the 18th century and is one of the best preserved in town. The other, neocolonial residence, was constructed in the beginning of the 20th century. Within these walls lives the spirit and history of the five generations of its owners.
At the moment Marcela and Markku, a cuban-finnish couple of architects and travellers by heart are offering one room overlooking the patio with a private bathroom. The airy room holds the original furniture of the great grandfathers of the house. Our breakfast consist of local seasonal products.
