How much did you pay per night?: 60 CUC

What a great place! Beautiful location, at the sea. Huge, clean room and bathroom. Seaview. Private terrace with seaview directly in front of the room. Very friendly owners and staff. Delicious breakfasts and evening meals. We stayed in Paradise!!!

How was your room?: Huge, clean, seaview

How was the food they offer?: Great food, delicious, very tastefull

My review: This charming casa is located right on a coral beach. Lovely, warm hosts with a very nice large bedroom room with nice big bathroom. Meals are on the porch overlooking the ocean. The food was very good. Only a 10 minute walk into La Boca and a 15 minute taxi ride to Playa Ancon. A nice quiet change from the from the more touristy Trinidad. But only a 10 minute taxi ride if you wish to visit Trinidad and stay in la Boca. Highly recommend this casa.

How was your room?: the room was large, clean, with very comfortable beds. Nice touch was making up beds and cleaning room daily.Good large bathroom with good water pressure in the shower (not found in every casa!)
How was the food they offer?: The food was very good. Offered a lovely dessert at dinner time. Good fruit and omlette at breakfast.

Hostal El Capitan

My review: I have visited La Boca twice, stayed at El Capitan. I so like the ownwers and their children. It is a beautiful, relaxing home with a fantastic vista. Incredible sunsets!!! Close to Ancon beach and Trinidad. Going back in November.

Hostal El Capitan

My review: We stayed six nights at casa El Capitan. We are very happy with our choice. Our room is comfortable, clean and cool. The only bad thing is there is so much mosquitoes outside that time,it forces us to close the window day and night and miss out the beautiful sea view of the room. Maikel and Yilenis, both owners of the casa are very good host/hostess. They really took good care of us, Yilenis cooks good meals, serves us breakfast and diner on their beautiful terrace, Maikel drives us to different beaches with lower charge than taxi and arranges transportation for our long distance trip with many of his taxi friends. We recommend strongly casa El Capitan to all travelers who want to stay close to La Boca and Playa Ancon.

How was your room?: room is very clean, cool,comfortable.
How was the food they offer?: Food is well prepared, delicious and ample but a little limited in variation.
Other services they offer: Fridge in room filled with water bottles,beer and soft drinks for guest's use.
Provide bath, beach towels to guest.
Make arrangement for outside activities ( diving, snorkeling) and trip to Playa Ancon and others places (Cienfugos, national park...)
Other comments: We are very happy with our stay at casa El Capitan and plan to return again next year. We strongly recommend casa El Capitan.

Casa El Capitan (La Boca)

Casa El Capitan is a small piece of paradise. Located on the outskirts of La Boca, overlooking the Caribbean, this place brings visitors back time and time again. Great food eaten on a patio overlooking the ocean. Very friendly hosts who made us feel like we were part of their extended family. Pocket beaches with incredible snorkeling are within walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All in all, this is as good as Cuba gets!

Hostal "El Capitan"

Nice and friendly YOUNG couple with a house which has a Cuban but also an Europene flavour. (Ikea!!)
