Bonjour, nous y avons séjourné qu'une nuit, mais nous aurions du y séjourné tout notre séjour à Santiago. Tout y est impeccable, propreté, nourriture et l'hospitalité de nos hôtes. Nous avons eu des soucis avec nos billets d'avion pour notre retour à la Havane. Le proprio à pris les choses en main, allant même jusqu'à aviser le prorio de la casa à la Havane de notre changement d'horaire. Il fut un ange pour nous. Un gros merci pour tout. Un de nos meilleurs souvenir à Cuba. Lorraine et Suzanne

My review: This is really an update on an already existing review but i feel it necessary to do it because Casa Mabel is really pushing the envelope on Casa particulares in Cuba! Phoned to make my reservation from Havana and was immediately asked if I wanted a pick-up at the airport. Landlords were very welcoming and excused for the renovations going on. My room was big, clean and with AC, dito for the bathroom. I was also shown another room and actually an entire apartement also available. all in mint condition. Mabel is a great cook
and I had every breakfast and dinner up on the patio, open air.
They have capacity for 10-12 persons and offer a whole range of services:
Laundering
Taxi
Salsa lessons
Spanish lessons

How was your room?: Big, clean and comfy.

How was the food they offer?: Food was great, huge portions!! And the coffee was the best I´ve ever had!!
She makes it european style and has a relative who is a coffee grower and provides her with
fresh beans that she grinds herself!!

The casa has already been recomended, by Pavel and Lucie, from Czech Republic : I'd like to add the pictures of the casa, which, as Pavel and Lucie said, is very well-located and very nice. The food Mabel cooks is really really good (my husband says it is as good as his mother's...)

Casa Mabel

This casa particular is by far the nicest house around the center of Santiago. It is really great, very centered (ca 200m from Parque Cespedes), with independent entrance, very private and with a terrace. There is only one room and it has private bath, air-conditioning and fridge. The owners are very nice and Mabel is a great cook. We were stuck there for 4 days due to the hurricane and it was a very pleasant stay.
