Hostal Ana

My review: Ana offers two rooms in the second floor of her new apartment. Both of them have separate doors directed to a small patio: A small room with loggia and a bigger one. There is also roof top terrace available. The casa is located in a safe nighbourhood only three blocks away from parque central. There was no problem to leave the car over night on the street in front of the casa, but there is guarded parking around the corner also. The rooms are very clean and can compete with European standard only the water pressure in the shower was somehow low. Ana offers a good breakfast with guava jam and seasonal fruits. Ana is good friend of Angel Rodriguez and will help with making reservations at Hostal Florida for dinner there. Ana only speaks spanish.

My review: Unreliable casa. As is advised, we called a day in advance to confirm our stay at this casa. We had booked it a few months ahead with a reservation confirmation. When we called, we checked if it indeed was the right casa, and it was. Everything was okay, we could come. One day later, when we arrived, she had no room for us. Even worse, she kept on saying that we hadn't called, so that she had given away the room. Even though we insisted we called and reminded her with the time and everything, she kept denying. I would never recommend this casa!
