In the city of San Juan de los Remedios (National Monument), placed in the province of Villa Clara, Republic of Cuba, you may find our Hostel “Casa Villa Colonial”. Its wonderful location only 5 meters away from Historical Helmet and 100 meters away from the Central Square "José Martí", offers the chance of getting in contact with the ancient city and its great colonial architecture from past centuries in a couple of minutes. Our Hostel "Casa Villa Colonial" is a beautiful colonial house built in 1895 keeping its original aspect in its interior and main facade. It has high ceilings and ancient authentic floor tiles. Its inner decoration suits, its colonial style give the guest an excellent comfort and absolute secured intimacy during all your stay. Our Hostel "Villa Colonial" has an independent entrance. It counts with a Hall; two large living rooms; two pleasant dining rooms for sixteen (16) guests; six air-conditioned bedrooms (each one with private inner bathrooms and hot / cold water 24 hours a day) and a roomy and welcoming Patio or Terrace outdoors with porch where the guest can enjoy moments surrounded by plants and the shade of a majestic creole climbing. Terrace on the second floor and also on the third floor with bar, bathroom, tables and armchairs, decoration with plants and a beautiful view of the city just 150 meters away from the central square. We offer food service with creole meals 24 hours a day with Refrigerator to the direct service of the client, as well as to choose their favorite music that will make more pleasant their stay. The guests can request their favorite Cuban swigs at every moment, as the Mojito, Daiquirí, Cuba Libre, among others. There is a wine exhibitor in the dining room that shows a vast variety of wine selections. We also offer secured parking services, laundry services, phone service and Internet access by wifi. At your departure from our Hostel, we may coordinate (if you want) your future lodging at any Hostel of our country as well as your comfortable transportation by taxi. We speak English.

Casa Villa Colonial Frank y Arelys

My review: A beautiful restored Casa just around the corner of the main plaza with great hosts in a lovely town full of music.

How was your room?: Very comfortable

How was the food they offer?: very good

Other services they offer: Not sure: didn't ask

Other comments: Excellent, friendly service. Great location to visit the Cayos de la Herradura as well.

Villa Colonial (Frank y Arelys)

My review: Wow, what can I say about this place. Frank and his family were amazing. The rooms are the best I think we stayed in our whole trip. We left after only 1 day (the weather was crap) but wanted to stay longer just to relax in Frank's casa.
The food was amazing. Simply amazing. Don't eat out in Remedios, just eat at Frank's casa. I would definitely go back in a heart beat. Thank you so much Frank.
PS. Don't forget to go up on the roof. If I could have eaten up there I would have (windy and raining).

How was the food they offer?: OMG - best food we had staying in casa's in Cuba. Frank pulls out all the stops. Don't eat in a restaurant in Remedios. You have fine dining at your fingertips
