Casa Lucilo and Nirma

We stayed 4 girls for 4 days with Lucilo y Nirma in Vinales, and it was such a great place to stay. They were super friendly and helped us out with all kinds of things and were very informative about tourist options in the area. The food was pretty much the best we had on the whole trip.

Casa style: Quiet, Fantastic hosts, Comfertable, Roomy, Charming, Beautiful, Safe
Amenities: Airconditioning, Private bathroom, Laundry service, Ceiling fan
How was your room?: Clean with private bathroom (both rooms) and quite big. With aircon and fan. Quite newly rennovated.
How was the food the offer?: The food was amazing!! Best we had in Cuba!
Other services they offer: Laundry. They were very helpful and told us lots about the area and helped us out with making phonecalls etc.
Other comments: In every way a great place to stay!

We loved staying at Casa Lucilo y Nirma - the whole family made us feel really welcome during our stay.

How was your room?: Roomy, comfortable.
How was the food the offer?: Excellent. The best food we ate in Cuba!
Other services they offer: Lucilo and Nirma were happy to advise about what was on offer locally in terms of trips and bars. Nirma booked some bikes for us to hire.

Casa Lucilo Y Nirma

We loved this place! The whole family were so warm and welcoming - we really felt like part of the family. In fact, we didn't want to leave and wanted to extend our visit for another day but unfortunately the room was already reserved.
We stayed in four different casas during the vacation and this was definitely the best. Part of it was the physical set-up - having a separate little house in the garden with an ensuite bathroom, lots of windows and a private entrance around the side of the house so we didn't feel like we were disturbing the family. Also they have managed to strike the right balance between giving guests privacy and including them in the family activities.
Another great thing was the food! Every meal was different and they were all delicious and beautifully presented. And Nirma made us a wonderful lunch, compliments of the casa, on the day we left.
But the best part of the stay was how warm and welcoming Lucilo, Nirma, Nana, Yunior and Yune were. We are already planning when we can go back and see them again!

How was your room?: The room was big and comfortable with two double-beds and lots of window. The air-conditioning was great for night, but in the daytime, we opened up all the windows and it was delightful.
How was the food the offer?: The food was fabulous. We are vegetarian and were thrilled with the great selection of meals they cooked for us.

Casa Lucilo y Nirma

its a very nice house with a very warm famely. the rooms and the food are ok. i was for the fifth time in cuba but this time was the best because its feeling likes i stay with family

How was your room?: nice and clean
How was the food the offer?: a very good breakfast and the lunch and diner are ok. normely i go to a restarant but now i could stay home
Other services they offer: they help you with rent a bike, horseriding, hiking and all wat you want
Other comments: the other times i had always a hotel, but now i know this is much better, because you learn more of the cuban people.when its possible im going next year to the same family

Casa Lucilo y Nirma

Big room with two beds, separate bathroom with hot water, nice courtyard, good meals at a reasonable price. Esp. the owners' son was nice and friendly.

How was your room?: Comfortable.
How was the food the offer?: Good and plenty.In my experience way better than what most hotels offer and reasonably priced.
Other services they offer: If you speak some Spanish I'm positive hosts are helpful.

Casa Yucilo y Nirma

My bf and I loved our time in Vinales and especially at Lucilo y Nirma\'s casa. They really made us feel like part of the family and organsied everything for us - horseback riding, trip to the beach, hiking in Vinales and in one of the caves. And the food...! The food was amazing, Nirma is the best cook and we ate every meal of our three days there, we couldn\'t get enough! Chicken, pork, seafood, rice, beans, soups, salad...you can even buy your beer and mojitos there! We had such a good time with Lucilo y Nirma, that we were sad to leave.

How was your room?: Room was very new and clean, spacious.
