Villa Mariposa is a beautiful yellow casa particular located very close (2 min walk) to the centre of Viñales in a quiet location off the main road. It has two porches with rocking chairs and a view to the "Mogotes" mountains and the valley.
There are two rooms, the bigger room has two double beds, the smaller room one double bed. Each room is 25 CUC independent of how many people stay there. Linen and towels are provided.
Both rooms are very spacy and bright and nicely decorated. They each have a modern private bathroom with hot water shower. There is a safe in the room to lock valuables and air-conditioning is also available.
The family living there and renting the rooms consists of Yuliet and Michel and their two children. They are just wonderful! They provide breakfast, dinner and local drinks on demand, very delicious and for a good price. Michel helps with arranging local activities, such as horseback riding, excursions to the caves or trips to the islands, always negotiating the best price for his guests. Both speak good English.
