My review: Estabamos de vacaciones mis amigas y yo en Cuba y hemos visto el Hostal El Tayaba en el internet como una de las casas mas lindas de Trinidad y decidimos venir a esta hermosa casa la cual nos gusto mucho y tuvimos una linda e inolvidable experiencia en ella. Iris es la chica mas simpatica de Cuba, su mama Rosita cocina de maravilla, y prepara los desayunos super especiales. La casa era una fabrica de tabaco de la misma familia y tienen 3 habitaciones para rentar, nosotros estabamos 4 chicas españolas en la habitacion colonial, la cual es amplia y hermosa. nos trataron muy dulce y nos ayudaron con las excursiones y los taxi. Recomiendo esta bellisima casa particular en Trinidad
How was your room?: la habitaciones colonial es muy hermosa y limpia, tiene baño privado, aire acondicionado y refrigerador, ademas que tiene una inmensa ventana que se puede abrir, estaba muy bien.
How was the food they offer?: la cena fue estupenda, el pollo en salsa ufffffffffffff,,, el mejor!!!!!!!!! recomiendo la cena aqui!!!
Other services they offer: ofertan todos los servicios, nosotros pedimos la excursion a caballo y nos cobraron 15cuc por persona y estuvo genial, tambien nos buscaron un taxi para traernos de La Habana y llevarnos de Trinidad a La Habana por el precio de 30cuc, esta mas rapido que el bus y todo estuvo bien.

My review: Excellent house with wonderful people, meals and breakfasts are the best. Iris has talent to help you organize your excursions. we were three unforgettable days and want to go back because we really liked this house. I recommend to come here and meet this great girl and her beautiful family.
How was your room?: The room I stayed was the number 2 with windows into the courtyard and had a private bathroom and hot and cold water, I really liked this room
How was the food they offer?: the food was very rich, especially grillet shrimp, ate two days, one day grillet sauce and shrimp and pork dinner another day and it was delicious with beans, rice, vegetables, fried bananas, dessert and coffee .. recommend dinner
Other services they offer: offer horseback riding excursions, taxis, bicycles,, were in Havana the day before coming to Trinidad and brother of Iris picked the particular house where we were in Havana to bring to Trinidad and charged us the same price 25cuc bus .

My review: La mejor casa que estuve en Cuba, maravilloso lugar con dueños muy amables que te hacen sentir como en casa. La cena de esta casa es muy abundante y bien elaborada, hemos cenado mejor que en cualquier otro lugar, al igual los desayunos son muy ricos y demasiados, esta de acuerdo con el precio. recomiendo esta casa de primera opcion si de verdad quieres conocer el verdadero ambiente trinitario.
How was your room?: hermosa, amplia y con buena ventilacion
How was the food they offer?: exquisitos, esas langostas inmensas de grande, uffffffffff!!!!! me encanto!!!

My review: Una casa excelente, colonial con muebles antiguos y bellos. la cena fue la mejor junto con desayunos y la amabilidad de los anfitriones. la casa tiene una hermosa terraza con vista a la montaña y el mar y esta muy centrica la hubicacion de la casa. para mi fue la mejor que estuve en toda Cuba.. recomiendo esta casa a todos los viajeron que vengan a este hermoso pais. muchas gracias. How was the food they offer?: Camarones en salsa y Pescado estaba exquisitos.

My review: I was staying in this beautiful colonial house for 5 days and was where better was in Cuba, the beautiful house with antique furniture, breakfasts and meals are exquisite, Iris is a very friendly girl who always makes you feel happy at home, she helps you organize all excursions. I recommend this excellent home.
How was your room?: Nice, clean and with large windows
How was the food they offer?: It was very good,. especially the lobster which was very big and also chicken and fish.

My review: Sin duda una de las mejores casas de Trinidad,,, la casa fantastica, hermosa con muebles antiguos perteneciente a la familia,,, Iris es la mejor chica de toda Cuba,, amable, cariñosa, dulce al igual que su mama y hermana, la comida fue la mejor que tuvimos y los desayunos increibles.... la casa tine una vista muy hermosa en una terraza en el 3er nivel de la casa. Ofertan internet y es mas economico que otros lugares en Trinidad. Recomiendo esta excelentisima casa colonial en el centro historico de la ciudad. Los extrañoo!!!!! :)

My review: Beautiful colonial house with friendly hosts. the house was a factory snuff family and retain much very nice antique furniture, has 2 terraces with views and a central courtyard, breakfasts and meals are very good,, Iris is a very friendly girl who likes to talk. They make you feel very special. Visit this house and will know the best family atmosphere throughout Cuba.
How was your room?: all rooms are very nice, with good beds, air conditioning and private bathroom with hot and cold water.
How was the food they offer?: they offer shrimp, fish, lobster, chicken, pork, mutton but the lobster is the most tasty and large I ate, I recommend eating and breakfasts are the best.

My review: Despues de caminar por las celles de Trinidad en busca de alojamientos, hemos encontrado el Hostal El Tayaba de casualidad,, afortunadamente tenian habitaciones disponible y ahi nos quedamos para probar, veniamos por una noche pero decidimos quedarnos 3 noches porque realmente la casa es la mejor que hemos estado en Cuba, la amabilidad de Iris y su familia es unica. una de las cosas que mas nos llamo la atencion es como todavia conservan la maquinaria de la fabrica de tabaco que funciono desde el año 1920 hasta el año 1961, que era del abuelo de Maria y Yoel,,,, wow!! es emocionante venir a un pais y encontrar una casa de interesante historia. la comida y los desayunos fueron los mejores de todo mi viaje en Cuba, es abundante y delicioso preparado por Rosita (mama de Iris) sin duda recomiendo esta hermosa casa colonial.
How was your room?: las habitaciones son bonitas, amplias y todas con sus baños privados y aire acondicionado.
How was the food they offer?: las cenas fueron las mejores y son bien elaborada y demasiado abundante. la recomiendo.

Other comments: vengan a esta casa y si no tienes reservaciones y en caso que ellos no tengas espacio, te van ayudar a encontrar alojamientos bien cerca.

My review: Die Casa war genial. Auf dich warten sehr schöne eingerichtete Zimmer, klasse Essen und super freundliche Gastgeber. Iris hat uns sehr gute Insidertipps gegeben. Außerdem fanden wir sehr schnell Familienanschluss und abends tranken wir die ein oder andere Flasche Rum. Frühstück und Abendessen ist nicht zu toppen.

My review: El Tayaba is absolutely charming and it is close to the main square. You can have both breakfeast and dinner at the casa, we had an amazing lobster dinner one night! We vent horseback riding and on a catamaran, all which Iris arranged for us, it was lovely! The casa has tree different seating areas, the photos is from the one on the roof, you can have you're coffee there in the morning and in the evening you can watch the sun set over Trinidad. You will like your stay in El Tayaba I´m sure. ps. the restaurant across the street is worth a visit.
How was your room?: Me and my family rented all three rooms in the casa. Every room has a private bathroom which is good, you don't have to share. The room we stayed is is medium size, has two single beds of good size. Every room in the casa has air-condition. There are 2 wardrobes so you get one each. We loved our stay.
How was the food they offer?: There are always many different dishes to every meal, you get to try cuban specialties and it is almost impossible to empty the plates. We had dinner both at the casa and at restaurants but I have to say, the food El Tayaba served was both better and to a better price.
Other services they offer: You can get laundry done, we left it in the morning and got it back in the evening. They helped us to get taxis, book the horseback riding and catamaran tour. They also arranged our transport to Havanna, we got seats in a minibus which made the trip 2 hours faster than taking the regular bus.
Other comments: Trinidad is an amazing place and El Tayaba is a good choice of accommodation. The best thing is the people, Iris is very helpful and always smiling and happy. Maria and her mother will care for you like you are family.

My review: We stayed at El Tayaba in January, 2015. It's a wonderful home. Our room on the interior courtyard was quiet and comfortable, with private bathroom. Iris was warm, welcoming and helpful with restaurant recommendations, and arranging bicycles for a trip to the beach. The breakfasts were generous and the roof-top patio has a wonderful view of the sunset. El Tayaba is very well located near the central square, restaurants and tourist attractions. I definitely recommend it. Enjoy!
How was your room?: The room was clean, quiet, comfortable; with private bath.
How was the food they offer?: The breakfasts were generous, hearty and good. The one dinner we ate there was the same. And our cook was warm and friendly.

My review: Una casa colonial hermosa con muebles y objetos antiguos,,, los anfitriones, especialmente Iris es una amor de persona, te ayuda en todo lo que necesites y es amable, un encanto!!!! La casa tiene 2 hermosas terrazas las cuales puedes desayunar y comer,,,, deliciosas cenas y desayunos preparado por Rosita la mama de Iris. Sus habitaciones estaban muy bonitas, limpias y acogedoras. Fue una experiencia haber llegado a esta casa porque no te tratan como un negocio sino nos hacen sentir como en casa y eso es algo hermoso!! Si quieres en verdad conocer gente buena y linda ven a este hostal que con mucho gusto te sentirás como en tu casa.
How was your room?: muy amplia, ventiladas, bonita y con camas perfectas.
How was the food they offer?: la comida fue la mejor que tuve en Cuba y la langosta es la mas grande y sabrosa...
